Io is one of Jupiter’s 16 moons and is about half our moon’s size. Discovered in 1610 by Galileo, Io is the most volcanic body know to man, with its lava rivers, lava lakes and geysers spitting out plumes of sulphur up to 16 kilometres in the air. Because of all the volcanoes, Io’s surface is in constant change.

| 28/03/06 | With grief in our hearts, we bring you the news that after some serious conversations between all the band members, Lio has come to the conclusion that Io isn't his band anymore. He has trouble with motivation, the way he feels with the band (and how that changed throughout the last six months) and his perspective towards the future. However, this is merely a musical seperation. Lio describes himself as a fan for life, and to us he will be a friend for life as well.
